24 April
The final game of the 2025 UEFA Conference League will be held at the Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw stadium
Two teams will meet on the pitch to fight for the prestigious title of champion, and viewers from all over the world will be able to witness this event. Given the high interest in the final, it is worth taking care of purchasing tickets in advance.
After the completion of the quarter-final matches, which took place on April 17 and 18, all the semi-finalists became known. London's Chelsea will face Sweden's Djurgarden, and Italy's Fiorentina will play against Spain's Betis.
In the return match of the quarter-finals on April 17, Chelsea suffered a 1-2 defeat to Warsaw's Legia, which interrupted their flawless streak in the tournament. However, the aggregate score of 4-2 ensured the Londoners' passage to the semi-finals. Cole Palmer failed to capitalise on two great chances in the opening minutes to end his 14-match goalless run. The visitors opened the scoring in the 10th minute through a penalty converted by Tomasz Pekhart after a shot by Philipp Jorgensen.
Chelsea equalised before the break through Jadon Sancho's pass to Marc Cucurella, who scored. Although Cucurella thought he had scored another goal in the 40th minute, the goal was disallowed for offside. Legia took the lead again in the second half after Steve Kapuadi capitalised on a corner kick by the Londoners.
The Polish club failed to score any more goals and only won away from home by the narrowest of margins. However, the victory at Stamford Bridge was a fitting end to their European campaign.
Despite Chelsea reaching the semi-finals, their performance left much to be desired compared to Legia's impressive performance. Enzo Maresca's men have shown a weakening of form compared to the first half of the season and will have to work hard to succeed in the Conference League and elsewhere. Perhaps the upcoming semi-final will be their chance to find their second wind and show their best qualities against Djurgården.
