Description
The Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium (Arabic: الستاد الأميرابدالله الريلل) is located in the port city of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
It is located in the southeast of Jeddah, between King Abdulaziz University and the industrial areas of the city. On the east side, the stadium borders the Jeddah-Mecca highway.
Built in 1970, the stadium holds about 23,000 spectators and is part of a municipal sports complex that includes an indoor arena and a water sports center.
The stadium consists of two main stands. The west stand is covered, fully equipped with seats and includes a VIP box and commentary booths in the central part. The eastern grandstand has the shape of an arch, its edges curving along the treadmills. The only large scoreboard is located at the northern end of the east stand.
