King Abdullah Sports City Stadium

King Abdullah Sports City, also known as the Shining Jewel, is located 60 km north of Jeddah in Saudi Arabia. This multi-purpose sports complex includes the King Abdullah International Stadium, which can accommodate up to 62,241 spectators. As the largest stadium in Jeddah and the second largest in the country, it plays a key role in hosting football matches and other major events. Designed by Arup Group, the project was completed in 2014 and marked a new stage in the development of sports infrastructure in the region.

The stadium is famous for its record attendance and historic matches, such as the 2014 King's Cup final. It hosts matches of the Saudi Pro League and international tournaments, including the Superclasico de las Americas.
