The current season of the UEFA Europa League is already the 55th, and it is an important club tournament on the European arena. Last year, the Italian Atalanta won the Europa League, confidently beating the German Bayer 3-0 in the final in Dublin. It is noteworthy that Russian midfielder Alexey Miranchuk, who was on the Atalanta roster, did not take to the field, remaining on the bench by decision of the coaching staff. The final match of the new Europa League season will be held at the San Mames stadium, which is the home arena of Athletic Bilbao. This stadium is considered not only one of the most beautiful in the world, but also one of the oldest: its construction began on January 20, 1913, and the opening took place on August 21 of the same year. In Spain, only the El Molinón stadium in Gijón is older. Originally designed for three and a half thousand spectators, after numerous reconstructions, San Mames now holds 45 thousand fans from all over the world.
