Urartu Stadium, formerly known as Banants Stadium, is a multi-purpose outdoor arena located in Yerevan, Malatia-Sebastia District, Armenia. The stadium has a capacity of approximately 5,000 spectators and serves as the home stadium of Urartu Football Club and Urartu 2. The average match attendance is 710. Built in 2006 with the assistance of UEFA, the stadium is primarily designed to host football matches. In 2008, an artificial turf was installed, allowing for training during the late autumn and winter months.
In 2010, the stadium underwent a major renovation and was reopened in May 2011. Due to the major renovation, the stadium's pitch has become one of the best in the region, allowing the team to participate in Champions League and Europa League matches. The stadium is part of the Urartu training center, including two small fields for youth and junior teams.
