Description
Lumen Field, located in Seattle, Washington, is a modern, multi-purpose stadium that hosts a variety of sporting events, concerts, and exhibitions. Home to the NFL's Seattle Seahawks and the Major League Soccer's Seattle Sounders, the stadium seats up to 68,740 for NFL games and up to 37,722 for most MLS matches. The arena's distinctive U-shape with an open north end provides scenic views of the downtown area. The stadium's history began with its opening on July 28, 2002. Since then, Lumen Field has become a vital part of Seattle's sports scene. A 13-story tower with a vertical scoreboard—the first of its kind in an NFL stadium—rises at the north end of the complex. The arena also features VIP boxes, known as the "Red Zone," which have become a model for other arenas. For schedule information and event listings, visit our website.
