The Belgium national football team has represented the country in international tournaments since 1904. It is one of the oldest European football teams. It's a permanent member of the UEFA Champions League Division A since 2018/19.

Since the beginning of the last century, the Belgian national team has participated in all major and minor competitions. Success did not always accompany the team. Its most successful periods were from 1920 to 1938, from 1980 to 2002, and from 2014 to the present.

The team participated in 13 world championships, 5 European Championships, and 3 Olympic Games. At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1900, the Belgians took third place and brought home bronze, and the highest achievement was Olympic gold in 1920 in Antwerp. The national team won bronze at the European Championship in 1972 and silver eight years later in Italy. The best result at the World Championships was 3rd place in 2018.

The national team's current home arena is the King Baudouin Stadium in Brussels. The head coach of the team is Domenico Tedesco, and its captain is Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku. In the 2024 FIFA ranking, the Belgian national team is ranked 4th.
